CMRP Exam Overview
The CMRP exam is designed to test candidates’ CMRP Certification knowledge and skills in several key areas of health care supply chain management. Understanding the structure of the exam and the types of questions you may encounter will help you prepare effectively.
1. Exam Format
The CMRP exam consists of 110 multiple-choice questions, including 100 scored questions and 10 pretest (unscored) questions. Candidates are given 2 hours to complete the exam.
2. Exam Content
The exam covers five major CMRP Certification content areas, each representing a specific aspect of health care supply chain management:
- Procurement and Product Value Analysis (25%): This section tests knowledge of procurement strategies, vendor relationships, and product evaluation.
- Inventory and Distribution Management (20%): Questions focus on inventory control, distribution processes, and logistics.
- Information Systems and Data Management (20%): This section assesses the candidate’s ability to utilize information systems for supply chain management.
- Finance (15%): This portion covers financial aspects such as budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting within the supply chain.
- Strategic Planning, Leadership, and Compliance (20%): This section focuses on leadership, compliance with regulations, and strategic supply chain planning.
